The big news we have all been waiting for is here! We got permits and zoning approval today! The building addition should start next week.....finally. We are ready to move. Thanks for waiting.

We are in the lull before the storm. Should be starting on the site in about a week, but for now we are getting everything else done like: picking vendors (desserts, coffee, pastries, tea), following up on zoning and licensing, and starting our QuickBooks and payroll format. We hope to have a lot of stuff done before we start construction. Dean and I joined Quorum (a professional group www.twincitiesquorum.com). Next week will be our last break time.

A lot of paperwork this week. I had a list of 28 things to do for the liquor license, but I got it done and handed it in today. We will know in about 6 weeks! We will only have beer and wine.

The Wilde Roasters volleyball team had a perfect 0-10 record this weekend at the Twin Cities Pride tournament. Yes, it is a perfectly bad record but we had fun, and we introduced the new Wilde Roast Cafe T-shirts!
We are still on track for a early September opening. We ordered the kitchen and espresso equipment last week. Applying for the food and liquor license this week, the people at the city office were VERY helpful. Thanks Phil!
