SUMMER

The summer is normally a slow time in the restaurant business and we don’t have many events or interesting updates. This has nothing to do with sales, in fact the cafe is up 10% this summer!
Many people ask me “How is the cafe doing?” Well, March 2009 was our biggest month EVER! The economy and addition of other great places around us, like Brasa, have help us. So, thanks for asking! And supporting!
Another reason for the lack of posts is the Wilde Roast Cafe has a FAN PAGE on FaceBook…so, I send out posts and emails from that site….please consider joining if you are on FaceBook.
I would like to tell you that Dean and I were not able to get funding from a bank (we went to over 5 banks) to fund a Stillwater location. It is not us…it is them. Many small businesses are not getting credit from banks.
Finally, let me remind you that Monday, Aug. 3rd is the Hope House Cruise in Stillwater, only $30 and always a good time.
