As a child, I would collect things from all around he house and make little creations with what I’d found. Now I do the same thing in the world. I grew up in the Twin Cities and graduated from the U of M with a degree in studio art. Over the past few years I have been making and displaying art. Right now I’m adventuring and residing in Rhode Island. Art plays an immense role in our world. When I create, I feel alive.
In this series of paintings I was inspired by the moments in ordinary life that are extraordinary because of realizations inside us. I also experimented with blurring the line between reality and the dream world. Now is a time of change and hope; a time for society to reignite imagination and encourage progressive thinking. In this time I have found myself perpetually searching for something and I am excited to share with you what I’ve found.
