Don’t Mess with Bill

Three Cat Media is proud to announce that the “Don’t Mess with Bill: A Cabaret Celebration” with be held on April 12th at 8:00pm at Camp Bar in St. Paul, Minnesota. A handful of Minnesota’s best musical talent will join forces to raise money to benefit documentary film “Don’t Mess with Bill: The Story of Dorothy Fairbairn”.

This fun filled evening will be an opportunity to not only see Twin Cities cabaret favorites, but to celebrate Dorothy Fairbairn’s 75th birth, to view and purchase the artwork of Ms. Fairbairn, and a chance to win one of the fantastic raffle prizes. Tickets are $10 at the door.

All proceeds benefit the documentary film “Don’t Mess with Bill: The Story of Dorothy Fairbairn”. “Don’t Mess with Bill: The Story of Dorothy Fairbairn” follows the life of Dorothy Fairbairn from her childhood on Chicago’s Southside in the 1930’s to life as a lesbian elder in today’s world. Through interviews with Dorothy and her friends, we will learn what life was like for lesbians in Toronto, Canada in the 1950’s. We will learn about life for the Minnesota lesbian community in the 1960’s and 1970’s and how Stonewall affected the lives of the Twin Cities GLBT Community.
