Fresh Fruit is the longest running Queer radio show in the country. It has been on KFAI - Fresh Air radio for over 23 years. Fresh Fruit is on every Thursday at 7:00 p.m. and features entertaining local, national and international guests.

Guests are a part of the GLBTQ community and their allies. They include: writers, musicians, activists, politicians, actors, moms, dads, daughters, sons and everybody in-between.

On Thursday at 7pm Bob Tracy will talk about the Wilde Roast Holiday Music Picks. Our staff listened to Bob’s Holiday Mix and will be picking the best and worst from the mix.

Today I got my Mpls St. Paul Magazine in the mail. In the OUR PICKS! This Year’s Best section was a note about our flourless chocolate cake. Described as velvety, rich, and creamy.

Our first chef, Todd Konkol, has started his own caterering business…Beyond Chocolates. It was listed in Wanda’s Wish List (Lavender p32).

If you are looking “to be the hit of your next holiday party”…then contact Todd. He can plan a whole menu or just the desserts. He is very talented. Todd did a lot of the menu for the Wilde Roast Cafe.

Thanks to my brother David, his boyfriend Brent, and our good friend Dave Creglow we made the Wilde Roast Cafe look like Christmas in only 3 hours this morning.  You will have to stop in for a latte and stay for the spirit.

Yes, our friends at Tangletown Gardens are at it again.

Dean’s 40th Birthday is January 15th. He wants to celebrate with a Fundraiser/Birthday Party. The party will be on January 20th at Park House in Minneapolis. The money raised will go to PARK HOUSE: A day health/mental health treatment center for people living with HIV/AIDS.

This December is the 19th year of the Holiday Basket Program from The Aliveness Project.  They deliver hundreds of baskets with gifts, clothing and food to people living with HIV/AIDS and their families.  You can help by adopting a basket, donating gifts, or making deliveries.  Please pick up a form at the cafe and send it in today.

The 17th Annual Coffee Festival will be held at Calhoun Square on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Admission is $7, part of which goes to AIDS Care Partners. In addition to getting coffee, tea, and confections, you get to keep a commemorative Coffee Festival Mug.
