MINNEAPOLIS , MN - This March the Wilde Roast Café is celebrating its one-year anniversary. As part of the celebration, Wilde Roast Café owners Dean Schlaak and Tom DeGree are pleased to announce updated food, beverage and wine menus.
In it's first year the Wilde Roast Cafe appeared on numerous publications' "Best Of" lists and received outstanding reviews by local and national media outlets including City Pages, Fresh Cup Magazine, KARE-11, Lavender Magazine, the Minneapolis Observer, the Minneapolis Star Tribune, Mpls/St. Paul Magazine, MSN/Citysearch, Northwest Airlines World Traveler Magazine and The Rake.
Over the past year the Wilde Roast Café has developed a devoted group of regular customers. These loyal customers were recently asked for feedback about the menu via the Café's email newsletter, and their response was overwhelming. Based on this feedback, and with the expert direction of the Café's chefs and owners, the following menu changes are slated for mid-March:
- Updated Food Menu - The Café's offerings of appetizers, sandwiches, pizzas and specialty items will be expanded and updated.
- Breakfast Pastries - With the addition of a new pastry chef, the Café continues to offer delicious cakes and desserts baked in-house. The Café recently started offering fresh-baked breakfast pastries every morning.
- French Press Coffee Menu - The Café will offer an expanded coffee selection with the addition of the bold flavor of French Press coffee.
- New Wines - The Café will add an impressive array of hand-selected, moderately-priced wines.
- ½ Price Wine Special - Bottles of wine will be ½ price on Sunday and Monday evenings.
